The letters C and K are taught together in jolly phonics, more like CK. I stretched this one out a lot because we’ve been catching up on math. Check out the counting section 🙂 Most of the activities are on the printables section.
Math Connection: we went over the parts of a clock and counted to 12 with the 2 and 3 y/o and up to 60 with the 4 y/o; we also skip counted by fives up to 60.
Song: Hickory Dickory Dock
we also made crown which I forgot to take a picture of.
So far this is what we’ve done for the letter N. Since the weather has been really nice we went outside and we read a book about birds. We have many pine trees on my property so we made the nests from the pine needles.
We also made a Number’s collage with the newspaper ad. The objective was to test their ability to distinguish the difference between a number an a letter. i helped them cut out the numbers.
This skill was a bit too hard for my 3 year olds but I still think they did a good job. You can find this on my printables section under P puzzle. I made it bilingual.
This is a Panda we made out of a tolilet paper roll.
